Wow! Life is hard sometimes! I am here to help you find your way through those difficult experiences. I counsel individuals and married couples. Individuals often come in for depression, anxiety, grief issues and self esteem concerns. You'll find a safe and empathetic atmosphere with the opportunity to find understanding and insight into your problems. Married clients usually feel they need counseling when their marriage has suffered some great trauma. I teach couples how to communicate with compassion, how to be empathetic with each other, understand each other's needs and how to fill those needs.
Clients learn to be introspective, to come to know themselves and accept themselves. They learn how to change thought processes and learn to strengthen love of self. Couples learn basic differences between the sexes and to respect one another. This helps understanding to grow and aids forgiveness. Communication is imperative but not hard to learn!
For those clients who are spiritual in nature and want to discuss this part of their lives, I am very interested and respectful of their views and feelings. I support our spiritual natures and the role they have in our wellness.
