Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling disconnected from their own emotional world. You may have grown up in a family where emotions weren’t talked about, where you had to keep the peace, take care of others, or meet high expectations. You might still carry the pressure to be perfect, productive, or “good,” even if it leaves you exhausted or resentful. You have a hard time knowing what you feel or finding the words to explain it. You may struggle to name your own needs or trust your inner voice. You worry about being misunderstood and notice emotions build up inside until you shut down, overthink, or feel stuck.

I help clients untangle these patterns with warmth, depth, and curiosity. Together we make sense of the emotions you’ve avoided, the stories that were never really yours and explore the parts of you that learned to hide or over-adapt. We work toward building self-trust and developing a more authentic, grounded sense of self.

Therapy with me is a space to finally slow down and develop new practices to integrate into your life. My treatment approach: body-centered counseling with a focus on the nervous system, social justice and multicultural counseling, trauma-informed, attachment based, and parts-work.
