About
Are you in a crisis? Stuck in a familiar issue? My practice is grounded in creating an emotionally safe space for clients, and building a therapeutic partnership. My work is integrative and eclectic so that I can offer an appropriate, individualized treatment plan or refer to other therapists if needed. I see individuals including adolescents over 18, married/unmarried couples, and families. My clients present with depression, anxiety, grief, guilt, numbness, and fear. My training integrates Psychodynamic/Family Systems theory with Mind-Body and holistic/relational practices. Specialties include Marital and Pre-marital sessions, Parent Coaching, Managing Life Transitions.
I believe that understanding the whole person means working with the mind-body connection, and when appropriate, spiritual energy. We might explore family and cultural history, identify old messages that are unstated but powerful, or work to access wisdom you do not yet know you possess.
Specializing in: A)Support through Life Transitions (ie: becoming a parent, sending a child to college, living with chronic illness, losing a parent etc) B) Coaching Parents of struggling teens - to young adults. C) Pre-Marital Sessions - One-One couples or groups - strengthening relationships from the beginning.

Moms Preparing to Launch a Child to College
Sending a child to college is a complicated and long process - applications, tuition, rejections, what ifs, decisions, are followed by the big step of launching them: actually letting them go. This 4 session group will identify the issues that make it exciting and satisfying and/or sad and scary, for parents. The group will be educational, supportive, and will address specific issues raised by participants.
