My goals are to assist individuals in the areas of 1) Decision-making, 2) Developing and implementing coping skills, 3) Identifying and using internal and external resources, and 4) Self-Empowerment and Acceptance.
I focus on depression, anxiety, and parenting (especially when caring for individuals w/special needs). I work with individuals (straight or LGBTQIA). I am highly competent in a variety of cultures and religions. My practice core values are Autonomy, Competence, Effectiveness, Integrity, Respect & Diversity, and Responsiveness.
I offer mental health services in Spanish or English. I recognize many factors including age, physical/cognitive abilities, religious/spiritual beliefs, sexuality, gender, racial/ethnic identities, and other unique characteristics are salient in every client's life.
