My counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that life brings both challenges and opportunities for growth. My approach is holistic and flexible, drawing from evidence-based practices to support healing, balance, and lasting well-being—emotionally, mentally, and beyond.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University, with a minor in History, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capital University as I continue to work toward licensure.
I use techniques from many research-based modalities, such as Radical Acceptance, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Existential/Logotherapy. I believe in constantly learning what is being researched and implementing new techniques, so we are all learning together!
I am a lifelong learner, constantly trying to learn about all the things that intrigue me. I’m a big music lover! I also immensely enjoy writing and designing, whether it’s a project or just working on something fun. In my downtime, I love reading, cooking, watching TV shows and movies, games, and recharging through new, fun experiences.
