I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I find it a privilege and honor to hold space for individuals as they work towards finding peace and understanding in whatever ailments have brought them to ask for help. My focused areas of practice include psychodynamic, Narrative, behavioral therapies, trauma-informed care, IFS, and family and couples therapy. My approach to goal setting with clients is one of collaboration and non-judgment. Goals can always be modified, extinguished, or added depending on life and what sessions bring. In our first session, we can decide if we are a good fit, there are no hard feelings with me.
I am client-centered in my approach to therapy. I am non-directive and act as an equal partner in your therapy process, while again, remaining non-judgmental towards feelings that arise. I can also be more directive when it comes to behavioral modifications and solution-focused work. Yet always remaining genuine and holding safety in exploration.
I was attracted to therapy by doing my own work in finding the right therapist to work through my own personal struggles. I am driven to do this work because I've known what desperation for healing looks like and the toll it takes on you personally. I understand the desire to be seen and validated without judgment or persecution.
