I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I received my Theology degree from Florida Theological Seminary and my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University. The combination of a Theological and Therapeutic approach allows me to reach my clients from a Holistic approach. It is this unique training that I incorporate in my counseling to assist one in achieving full homeostasis by focusing on the body, mind, and soul. I incorporate a Solution Focused/CBT approach.
We work collaboratively to understand and resolve the core issues and barriers that have been a barrier to reaching full potential. I have extensive experience working with Marriage and Family Issues, adolescents, ADHD, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, adjusting to life challenges, dual diagnosis, and Christian Counseling.
My greatest asset is my ability to empathize as well as sympathize with my clients, as I have faced much adversity in my life in order to become successful. I believe you cannot get someone where they need to go, if you have not been where they have been. Choosing to start therapy is difficult but it is the first step towards healing and healthy living.
