About
I work therapeutically with anyone who believes that they are struggling with either or both their personal relationships and career fulfillment. I also have long experience with those who feel depressed or despairing and as well, those who suffer from inhibiting anxiety. I try to use my 40 years of accumulated experience with a wide range of men and women to be optimally useful to each new client I meet and to help them as quickly as possible. Although a trained psychoanalyst, I am an active participant in sharing my observations, impressions and insights.
I aim to help people grieve and heal old personal wounds and to move on from these. As well, I strive to help people see clearly how they might be unconsciously impeding and/or in conflict about reaching personal and career goals, ie., falling far short of potential. Once this occurs personal change becomes more likely.
I teach and supervise at a number psychoanalytic and psychotherapy training institutes, speak nationally and internationally and have published many journal articles and book chapters, as well as six books.
