For many men and young people, anger is the only language available when pain has no other outlet. You may have grown up in a home where pushing through was the expectation, where asking for help was weakness, and where the pressure of being dependable for everyone else left no room to figure out what was happening inside you. That tension lives in how hard it is to sleep, how distant you feel from the people you want to be close to. Something needs attention and you already know it.
The work is practical. Using CBT, DBT, and ACT, sessions move between what happened this week and what's been true for years, tracking where anger spikes, where anxiety locks in, and what's kept certain patterns running. Sessions are available in English and Spanish. If faith shapes how you see the world, it has a place in the work too.
Reaching out is often the hardest part, particularly when asking for help was never something you saw done. If you've been carrying this quietly for a long time, that makes sense. A free consultation is available to see if working together feels right. I offer individual and family therapy sessions throughout Nevada, online, in English and Spanish.
