Hello! Hola! and Bienvenidos to Raices. Raices Behavioral Health PLLC was created with the intentions of providing quality mental health care to the Latinx/e community. Raices which means "roots" celebrates and embraces your identity and culture. Our main goal is for you to feel en confianza, so you can finally have a therapist who you can relate with. My Name is Irmarie D. Rios (she/her). I'm a bilingual (Spanish/English y Spanglish) and bicultural Latina Therapist. I have a master's degree in Clinical counseling with a Latino Mental Health specialization.
My clients consist of Latinx/a adults and children/teens who struggle with life and family expectations. Many of them feel that their efforts are never "good enough," and they often struggle with establishing healthy limits and boundaries—a concept that can be challenging to discuss within our communities.
Together, we will collaborate to instill a sense of bravery and empowerment, equipping you to embrace and pursue the life you truly desire.
