My name is Dr. Irit Bernstein and I’m a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. My work with clients is focused on reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety related to life stressors including relational problems, family discord, grief/loss, work related stress, and financial concerns.
I typically work with adults, but have extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan. I treat conditions including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, panic, grief/loss/bereavement, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, phase of life issues, and career/workplace concerns.
During the initial session, client and therapist get to know each other and work on building the therapeutic alliance. In this session, there will be a discussion on the limits of confidentiality, therapeutic methods to be employed, and possible length of treatment.
