I offer therapy for individuals, teens, and adults who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, intergenerational trauma, as well as relational issues, depression, and anxiety. My approach is grounded in the understanding that no single therapeutic method can encompass the full spectrum of human experience. As a Chicana therapist and daughter of immigrants, my personal journey informs the way I connect with clients. This integrative approach considers cultural, historical, and individual contexts to provide healing and empowerment
Over the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of serving parents, youth, and families in the Portland Metro area through my work in juvenile justice, education, and with survivors of domestic violence. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, immigration, and intergenerational trauma.
I use a diverse range of techniques, including CBT, narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, strength-based and trauma-focused approaches, as well as culturally responsive therapies. I prefer to work from an integrative perspective, as no single theory can fully address the wide variety of human experiences.
