Most of my clients have post traumatic stress that stems from childhood experiences or neglect. Most of my clients also disclose that they struggle with one or many relationships in their lives. Many of my clients are immigrants, and seek a therapist who is sensitive to how cultural factors and (im)migration impact their ability to successfully connect with others.
I offer a culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and creative approach to therapy. In addition to talk therapy, we can use somatic (body) therapy, such as spiritual approaches, yoga, movement, art, and mindfulness. I can weave those elements into my work with you - if you want. Therapy with me will hopefully be fun and leave you feeling lighter.
