I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in practice for over 20 years. The foundation of my work is the firm belief that we are wired to connect with others. When we fail to do so in some aspects of our lives, we become depressed and anxious and feel alone. My goal is to help you have healthy connections with others. People who have found my work helpful include couples dealing with relational issues, cross-cultural relationships, childhood trauma, anxiety, cultural and race issues.
Apart from receiving advanced training in working with couples, I also have training in trauma work, including Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST). My style is collaborative and relational. I am direct but empathic. I meet you where you are on your journey in order to ensure progress and growth in our work together.
It is very lonely when the attachment bonds with your loved ones are broken. I can help you make sense of it and find a way to express your longings and desires. For those who have gone through trauma, especially childhood trauma, together we will find healing so that the past will no longer dictate your present and your future.
