I am passionate about coming into the Here and Now with clients and believe in the healing power of being witnessed with presence and loving kindness. Using mindfulness based practices I focus on supporting clients in addressing issues of depression, anxiety, and identity issues. My work is grounded in the attachment relationship between myself and the client, and from that place of building security and trust, deep healing for my clients can happen.
My approach is strongly influenced by Zen Buddhist Philosophy and practice, Somatic Experiencing, Psychedelic/Transpersonal,Rogerian Therapy, Logotherapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Ecopsychology and Non-violent communication. My approach is trauma informed, centers on a social justice, and multi-cultural orientation, acknowledging the complexity of identity.
