I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and I provide individual therapy to the full adult life span, from college and graduate students through middle age and into the elder years. I have helped individuals cope with depression, anxiety, and other mood and trauma related symptoms. I approach these issues drawn on 35 years of experience and clinical practice.
I have supported many individuals in processing and navigating life transitions and changes, enhancing self-esteem, solidifying a stable identity and sense of self, forming deeper connections with others, and improving their ability to identify, manage, and express emotions.
I seek to develop a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients by providing a non-judgmental, supportive, and empathic space. I graduated from Smith College School for Social Work and have practiced in the Boston area for the past several decades. I recently relocated to Houston and am continuing my practice in this locale.
