We work with the strong friends who are everything to everybody but are quietly suffering and exhausted; rebellious teens who are bright, quiet or outspoken and also largely misunderstood; disillusioned parents and couples who are unhappy with the way things are but are committed to getting things back on track. You are welcome here. We specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD and stress in Black and African American teens and adults. If you are considering the courageous next step toward a life of thriving, we'd be honored to partner with you on your journey. In person, virtual, weekends and evenings available.
We support clients in developing radical self-acceptance, examining roles and patterns that no longer serve them, and building lives that are emotionally sustainable. Our approach is primarily ACT and CBT integrating psychodynamic, solution-focused, Brainspotting, narrative, expressive, somatic, and mindfulness-based techniques.
