As a therapist, I have extensive experience working with at risk youth, crisis, mental health and addiction counseling working as a TDT (Therapeutic Day Treatment) Clinician, Program Manager, and Clinician within the county’s mental health and substance abuse treatment system. I enjoy utilizing my training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing) via Eclectic Counselling techniques to produce a structure towards daily wellness. I also am registered with VSAP as a Service Provider and as a Licensed Substance Abuse Practitioner assisting individuals struggling with substance abuse.
I am an experienced and practiced clinical counselor with a wide variety of psychological strategies and techniques in assisting with a daily structure towards wellness. I am certain that with appropriate efforts there will be an established rapport, that fosters higher self perspective, acceptance and plans of daily maintenance.
Life is categorized in developmental stages and typically individuals can cope daily with on-goings. However, there are periods where we become overwhelmed and basic principles are difficult to (re)establish. Sessions would include utilizing innate strengths and discovery related to resilience and mental flexibility.
