Expecting and New Mother's Support Group
Being an expecting or new mom often comes with adjustments full of emotional ups and downs. In this time, there are unique challenges with changing hospital policies, social distancing from loved ones, or letting go of expectations you had for your experience. You search for balance in caring for your little one(s), your self, or bonding with your partner(s). Join us once a month on Google Meets to connect with other mothers and mothers-to-be, while learning skills and resources, in mind and body, to help manage it all. Babies are welcome. May be billable to Insurance.
ADHD Therapy Support Group
The group is online via Google Meets, and focuses on building confidence and connections with others who have similar experiences in the impact of ADHD, emotionally, personally, and professionally. We will process navigating relational challenges, building confidence, finding your voice, alleviating associated anxiety, and refining creative and self-nurturing skills as part of coping. The group will be facilitated by Cara Paden, MT-BC, and counseling and dance/movement therapy intern Katy Bruns, so we are incorporating some mind-body elements, creativity, and music in the group for skill building and reflection.
LGBTQ+ Therapy Support Group
We have an LGBTQ+ Therapy Support group for adults that will meet on Google Meets at 6pm every other Tuesday. This group will help individuals explore identity and build community, strategize coping mechanisms, discover new perspectives, find resilience within, and learn more about themselves. Have fun using theatre games and creativity led by Cree Noble, our drama therapy and counseling intern.
