Please call me Kat. I am a National Board Certified Counselor & Licensed Professional Counselor.. I am a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist & a Certified Integrative Couples Therapist. I am certified through AANE to work with neurodivergent couples and currently in the certification process as a Sex Therapist through AASECT. In addition, I have extensive experience in developmental/childhood trauma, utilizing trauma modalities such as EMDR and Brainspotting. I have had the privilege to witness survivors gain what they have lost–the capacity for self-trust & to trust others within the context of uncertainty.
I practice with a sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, gender-equitable, and racially just environment that is inclusive of all identities and immigration statuses. I believe that our differences/uniqueness is our strength. I practice with a strong neurological lens, believing that our neurology is foundational in how we experience our environment and ourselves.
The therapy room is our laboratory. It is a place where we explore possibilities, deconstruct illusions, and release what we no longer want to carry with us. Each session is an opportunity for you to experience expansion, with the goal of ultimately living outside of the therapy room in that lovely state.
