I have over 3 decades of experience working in mental health and education. My goal has always been to support everyone of my clients to heal, while equipping them with tools so that they can regulate and care for themselves. I love to help people connect to their own light and purpose. Much of my mental health experience has been working with issues related to trauma, depression, anxiety, social phobias, eating disorders, academic/test anxiety, among others. I believe that with the right intervention, most people are able to heal from many mental, emotional, and physical ailments, allowing them not just to survive, but to thrive.

Amy Goldsheid-Martin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Addiction Specialist. She is a NYS OASAS-Approved Provider for DWI/DUI assessments and assists individuals and families dealing with substance abuse. Amy also helps spouses dealing with co-dependency issues and child welfare cases. Additional services include: individual counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, parent education, and working with children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional challenges.

As a Doctor of Social Work, a licensed clinical social worker and certified school social worker I support children, adults and families in an effort to promote personal growth and develop inherent strengths. As a certified school social worker I have experience in elementary, middle and high school settings and am sensitive to the needs of school aged children and adolescents. As an adult practitioner I work to support people experiencing a variety of mood issues, life changes, and substance use related concerns, in an effort to increase wellness and overall life satisfaction.
