Welcome to Psychological Assessment Group of North Florida (PAGNFL). I am a practicing Psychologist for over 25 years and seek to serve those with mental health needs. I offer a range of mental health support ranging from Psycho-educational Assessment, psychotherapy, counseling, intervention and RTI monitoring, family and marital counseling. Specialization is with children, adolescents, couples and families. I am currently accepting clients who need assessments and or psychotherapy services.

I have over 22 years of experience with the 12 - Step approach to recovery. My life experience has given me empathy for those suffering with addiction. I have a passion to help others in recovery beyond the traditional methods. I realize that what may work well for some, may not work well for all. A veteran of the United States Air Force and spent 20 years serving my country. During that time I was deployed to support Operation Enduring Freedom. I am very passionate concerning Veteran's issues and I hope that I can continue to help those who struggle with addiction.

I am licensed in Florida with 16 years of clinical experience. I have experience in helping clients with life’s adjustments, depression, stress, anxiety, LGBT-related issues, relationship issues, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I additionally have experience working in the couples setting working on decisions surrounding divorce, communication, fertility and many other challenges couples may endure.

At ‘Anew Life' we understand that life is challenging and full of unexpected events for any and everyone. These events can leave deep emotional scars, painful memories, and setbacks if not appropriately addressed. The emotions can cause a person to act, live, and think in ways they usually wouldn’t. Anew Life wants to help that individual, couple, or family set a fresh course for their life. To achieve this goal, we continuously make it our priority to provide a therapeutic environment that is centered around growth, clarity, and a new beginning. After all, we all have needed a fresh start in our lives at one time or another!

David Silvers, Licensed Therapist – LMHC - State of Florida, and a CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist). He earned his MS from Troy State University in Counseling and Human Development and has trained with Dr. Patrick Carnes through the International Institute of Addiction Professionals (IITAP). David specializes in the treatment of sex addiction and other co-occurring disorders including depression, anxiety, and trauma. He has been in the addiction treatment field since 2007 and understands the devastating effects of active addiction and that recovery and lasting change is possible.

I have assisted clients learn to love themselves, find the resources they need, and heal from the situations life brings to us.
