I work together with my clients toward more self-compassion, awareness, and understanding. These bring about lasting positive change. I treat a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, addictions, interpersonal issues (i.e. couples counseling), psycho-spiritual/religious conflicts and abuse, sexuality, and pragmatic life-coaching, to name a few. I have extensive experience working with the LGBT community, some "out," others not; some religious, others not. I use Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT) when indicated, coupled with mindfulness techniques. I also explore with my clients deeper-seated issues, including exploring our "shadows" and the roots of addiction and shame. I serve adolescents and adults.

I am deeply passionate about helping individuals who find themselves experiencing challenging life changes and transitions. They may be grappling with issues related to trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, or the complexities of grief. As a second-generation immigrant, I am also passionate about helping individuals navigate multi-generational family dynamics and commitments, while also deepening their understanding of their own identity and experiences.

With recent changes in our world and communities, adolescents and young adults are bombarded with stress and insecurity leading to mental health challenges.
