Hi! Welcome. I enjoy learning about my clients and helping them figure out how to be happier and more productive. My focus is treating trauma, anxiety, addictions, depression or ADD. Many people have a combination of these issues. Don't think you are alone, most people have something going on. Hello! My name is Amy Krites, I am the founder and owner of WellSpace Therapeutics. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and have been providing therapy for individuals in some capacity for 20 years. I enjoy working with people of all ages who are struggling and need some help to work through their issues. I will provide a safe, nonjudgmental, confidential environment for people can work towards their goals in therapy. I have been a victim's advocate, worked with people aged 60+, private practice counseling, as well as a counselor for people who struggle with addiction.

I have years of experience working with youth, adolescents and their families dealing with a range of issues from juvenile delinquency, substance abuse and trauma. I have developed professionalism and discipline form my time in the U.S. Army, and have extensive experience in education and coaching. I have spent years helping youth academically, athletically and socially. I have worked with the offender populations and have demonstrated a safe and caring space for this marginalized group. In addition, I have worked with victims of abuse, and have created a safe, caring empathetic place for them to process their concerns. My experience has allowed me to develop the unique ability to bridge the gap between, offender/victim, teacher/student, caregiver/child, felon/community and individual/system. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist who uses EMDR and other proven techniques, to help clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, chronic illness, chronic pain, medical trauma, difficult childhood experiences, attachment issues, and dissociation. EMDR based therapy for chronic pain is effective in many cases of low back pain, migraine, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, whiplash, irritable bowel syndrome, and sexual pain disorder. Other types of pain may respond favorably, as well. As a result of our work together you should have a clearer view of yourself, feel calmer, more positive, be able to make better life decisions, and experience improved quality of life.
