Tabitha decided to go into social work and counseling because she wanted to help people learn how to become the best versions of themselves. Tabitha has experience and passion working with individuals who are adjusting to major life changes such as birth of a child, becoming an empty nester, job changes, changes in marital status, etc. She has experience with helping clients learn to cope and thrive with mood disorders including anxiety, depression, and bi-polar diagnoses. I am a current Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Emilee Aschenbrenner, LPC-S. I graduated from Abilene Christian University with an M.S. in Counseling. I work with a wide range of clients struggling with many issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and major life changes. My goal is to provide a safe and comforting environment for clients to be able to share the more vulnerable parts of themselves, while at the same time helping them become even better versions of themselves.

My therapeutic process centers around the client and their individual needs. I have an integrative approach and have a very down-to-earth, compassionate style. Therapy modalities I incorporate include play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and Trust Based Relational Interventions.

Beyond talk therapy. I believe that life should be meaningful and that the path from the head to the heart is the one that matters most. My goal is to help people connect to who they really are and feel good in their skin again. This requires making changes on a deep level. I am an active and directive therapist who will engage powerfully with you to help you make the oftentimes radical changes you seek. No more bandaids! I am a frequent teacher through TCU's extended adult education programs, as well as a speaker, group and retreat leader.

I have a deep compassion for helping those individuals who want to improve their quality of life so that they may lead a life that matters. I received my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Texas School of Professional Psychology, and am a Licensed Psychological Associate in the state of Texas.

I am a Licensed Psychologist in Texas (in person & virtual sessions) & Illinois (virtual only sessions) providing short and long-term therapy to adults (ages 18 and up).
