These factors often include, but are not limited to; the identified stressor(s) that brought them into therapy; the effectiveness (or lack of effectiveness) of their current coping strategies; the influence past experiences and physical discomfort can have on their decision making and behavior; and increasing his or her awareness of their individual strengths and weakness. For over 30 years, I have committed my work to healing the personal and relational damage caused by substance abuse and addiction, emotional disorders, and relational discord. I draw on multiple treatment approaches - particularly systems theory, relapse prevention training, cognitive-affective-behavioral theory, and brief solution-focused theory - in restoring one's dignity and worth.

I have the skills and experience to help you find the best path for your healing and growth. I believe the quality of our partnership is the most important part of therapy. We will complete an evaluation during the first session so I can get a complete picture of your strengths, what is troubling you, & how your history might be impacting you. We will then develop a treatment plan together. I specialize in assisting people to overcome barriers to change & focus on treating depression, addiction & trauma. I offer both in-person & telehealth for day or evening appointments.
