If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, marital or relationship issues, it is important to find a therapist with whom you feel safe and comfortable....a good fit for you. I have been in practice for over 20 years and my approach is to get to the problem, find the solution, and work collaboratively toward these goals. I welcome feedback, positive and negative!
I am licensed in three states: Virginia, DC and California. I work with adults and adolescents in individual therapy, group therapy, couples and family therapy. Some of the areas I treat are: addictions (love and sex) alcoholism, spouses of addicts, bereavement, stress management, self-destructive behaviors, divorce, career goals, etc.
Member of the American Psychological Association, American Group Psychotherapy Association, the Northern Virginia Association of Clinical Psychologists, and the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis. My continuing education is through the Center for Group Studies in New York and Relational Life Institute in Boston.
