ARISE is a non-profit organization that strives to provide healing services to individuals, couples, and families. They offer counseling services to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Additionally, an Intensive Outpatient Program is available for adults. Our providers use a variety of theoretical perspectives and modalities. The patients’ situation, needs, culture, and spiritual prospective are taken into consideration. ARISE has a Psychiatrist (Dr. Sora), Licensed Associate Counselors, Master Level Counselors, BHTs, Veteran Peer Support, Case Managers and Family Nurse Practitioner on staff to best meet the needs of the community.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), working under the private agency: Becoming Transformed, LLC. I come from a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, where I was able to apply my unique counseling skills in a diverse community of teaching, accounting/finance, analytics, and guidance for students and school leadership. I spend much of my spare time with family, serving in church leadership, reading/writing, and enjoying the great outdoors.

During his undergraduate years Sam worked in the substance use field and with those who suffer with addiction. Sam often uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Person-Centered approach when working with clients. Sam works with adolescents and adults. Sam brings a unique perspective as he suffered with intense anxiety and depression during his adolescent years. Sam focuses on treating anxiety, depression, problematic behaviors.

I provide individual and family therapy to address client and family social, emotional and behavioral concerns. I am specialized in working with victim trauma, general mental health problems, substance abuse, chronic behavioral health problems, and youth with sexually maladaptive behavior issues. I also have experience working with children and families struggling with history of domestic violence, addiction, and working with adolescents on aggression replacement, acceptance and responsibility and implementing healthy lifestyles. This practice does NOT get involved in custody/divorce cases.

Doctor Willyerd graduated from Arizona State University with a doctorate in behavioral health in 2011. prior to that he had a masters degree in counseling in 2009. Since then his professional career has taken him into helping many at risk individuals such as sex offender youth, children with severe childhood trauma, families with fragile home life and structure, prisoners in the prison system and on suicide watch and prisoners having severe psychotic episodes.

Jerry Andrews is a Licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist, as well as a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor. He has a Masters degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage, Family, and Child. His experience in behavioral health began in the mid 1990's, holding positions such as: group home staff worker for troubled youth, case manager for the severely mentally ill population, and site manager/director for a psychiatric outpatient mental health facility. These roles have helped strengthen what Mr. Andrews offers as a therapist, and have allowed him to approach each case in a comprehensive manner.

Silverman, The Center for Attention Deficit and Learning Disorders combines science, technology and clinical psychological expertise for state-of-the-art assessment and treatment of ADD/ADHD, learning disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, plus other emotional and behavioral disorders. Our neurofeedback programs and other treatment techniques also work as alternatives or supplements to medication for ADD and other disorders, resulting in more thorough and long-term results.

I take clients from all different backgrounds and presenting problems.
