As a licensed therapist, I have more than 10 years of experience in working with people from many different backgrounds, cultures and ages. Being born in Japan and educated in the U.S., I am fluent in Japanese and English and have deep understanding in cultural competency and transitional issues.
My therapy approach integrates, Person-Centered, Strength Based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Guided Imagery, Relaxation and Hypnotherapy. I also have an extensive experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. Home visits available for clients who live in east to north areas of Kauai.
