Hello! My name is Malak Berro founder of Internal Healing Services. I’m EMDR trained! I am looking to build therapeutic relationships with clients that feel like they've lost their way. I specialize in complex trauma. I have over 14 years of experience in my field. I have worked many years in Silicon Valley with clients from multicultural backgrounds. I myself am multicultural and understand certain struggles of adjusting and yearning to belong. At my office you get a personal one on one experience, and we are all available to help meet your needs. We thrive to create a safe space for our clients and their children.
My experiences support clients with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and adjustment disorders. I mainly practice cognitive behavioral therapy, and I am EMDR trained. EMDR is for clients who feel stuck in the past, and have very emotionally triggering memories. It’s neurological. We work on changing emotions that are attached to disturbing memories.
