I work with autistic individuals and their families as well families who are concerned their child may have autism. My primary service is comprehensive psychological evaluation for toddlers, children and adolescents when there is a question of autism. I also support a fabulous team of mental health providers who provide mental health intervention to autistic children and youth. Our Illinois location specializes in early diagnostic evaluations for children 14 months to 5 years. In Madison, WI we support diagnostic services for children 14 months to 16 years. Mental health services in both locations span up to 26 years of age.

The emphasis of my clinical work is in pediatric assessments including neuropsychological evaluations. I specialize in providing individually-tailored, extensive examinations of symptoms, development, and functioning in order to better understand each child or adolescent. Thus, the goal is not to arrive at a standardized diagnosis, but to achieve a deeper insight into each person's distinct biopsychosocial makeup. The most enjoyable aspect of assessment work is being able to provide children and families with clarifying "ah ha" moments, in order to help them make better sense and successes of their lives.

My down to earth, compassionate and honest nature will make you feel supported and comfortable in the therapeutic process. I convey an empathic approach and gentle sense of humor as I create a safe space that allows clients to develop their authentic self. I bring a playful spirit to my work which is complimented by training and numerous years of experience. I am passionate about helping adults, children and families heal from past trauma and find success in building healthy relationships.

As a Licensed Psychologist, I offer counseling sessions for adults, children, couples, and families. My approach is nonjudgmental, I believe each individual have inner strength and inspiration that can guide them in recovery. I integrate various theories and skills into my practice with a belief in mindfulness and motivational interviewing as a therapeutic tool. I take great care in my approach as a culturally sensitive and caring person.

I have been working with kids, teens, and families for over ten years. Whether it has been in a children’s hospital, an intensive program, or a small community practice, I have continued to learn and grow alongside my patients. I believe that trust, compassion and a sense of humor allow for a strong therapeutic relationship. My philosophy is that all of us - kids, parents, and people - do well when we are able to do well.

As parents/guardians, we want to see our children succeed, no matter what it takes. When our children struggle, we struggle as well. These struggles can lead to frustration, especially when we are not able to pinpoint the root cause. Too often, when children present with complex behaviors, and/or varying levels of abilities/intellect, they are mis-understood, or even mis-diagnosed. Kayla began her career by working for over ten years in veterinary medicine. Kayla decided to merge her two passions of helping people and interest in animals by obtaining a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a specialty in animal assisted therapy. Along with Animal assisted therapy, Kayla has experience working with patients with behavioral needs, through integration in the school setting as well as outpatient Kayla has experience working in group home settings, the alternative schools in the area, and traditional schools previously.

Sophia (she/her) works with a wide variety of relationships as well as individuals from all walks of life. Sophia believes in meeting each individual where they are at and fostering an environment of unique growth. Sophia is particularly interested in working with relationships, neurodivergent folks, and academic stress.

Olivia enjoys working with young adults, adolescents, infants, and their families. She works with individuals presenting with a variety of concerns or diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, behavioral difficulties, adjustment challenges, as well as relational and attachment concerns.
