Dr. Moreland is a Licensed Psychologist, who conducts comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments through HIPAA Compliant Telehealth Platforms. She specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults with a range of socio-emotional problems, as well as cognitive symptoms and disorders. She has worked with a wide range of neurodevelopmental disorders, including intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and specific learning disorder. She has also had experience with neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries and dementia.

Hello! I am a clinical psychologist who is dually licensed in Texas and Oregon. Always intrigued by the mind-body connection, I hold a Doctoral degree in Psychology from Walden University as well as a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Drexel University (formerly Hahnemann). My experience in the field includes a practicum at Oregon State Hospital, an internship on the inpatient psychiatric units of Adventist Hospital, and ongoing work in outpatient/private practice settings completing therapy and evaluations. My areas of specialty include ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and psychological testing.

Throughout my career, I have received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood and adolescent difficulties including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disability, depression, anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have worked with children and adolescents in public schools, foster care, out-patient clinics, and residential treatment centers. I worked as a LSSP in the public schools for three years completing special education evaluations, consultation with teachers, and counseling sessions with students.

I have more than twenty five years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in individual, marital, family, and groups in the field of counseling health services. My experience includes consulting in inpatient psychiatric and hospitals, medical/surgical hospitals, nursing homes, pain management clinics, and private practice. I also specialize in career testing and counseling for high school students, college students, and in career transition for adults. I have served as a psychologist and director of a Christian counseling center for eight years and as a psychologist and manager for the employee assistance program for Methodist Hospitals of Dallas.

I am a licensed master of social work (LMSW) under clinical supervision of Dr. Steven D. Gomez. I started my educational journey working with children who have special needs, focusing on Autism. The last few years, I have emphasized on working with young children, adolescents, and parents who have experienced multiple traumas. My outlook on working with clients' who have experienced trauma is focusing around the question of "What has happened to you".
