Whether psychological assessment or psychotherapy, I truly enjoy and embrace diversity in my practice, with regard to clients and their clinical needs. In addition to psychotherapy services, I perform a myriad of psychological assessments including neurocognitive, psychoeducational, diagnostic clarification, parental fitness, disability assessments, etc. My work with the family court includes co-parenting sessions, reunification counseling, and individual psychotherapy as needed, in addition to expert testimony and other court services as needed.

I specialize in neuropsychological, psychological, developmental, and psycho-educational testing. Testing is performed for the purposes of diagnosis & treatment planning. I give "understandable" reports with comprehensive treatment plans, referrals to health professions (S&L, OT, PT, & psychiatrists), home-based & school-based recommendations. I equip parents to engage their children in interventions at home, empowering parents to take charge of their children's challenges. I also provide brief screening and treatment recommendations as an alternative to comprehensive testing.

Hey there! My name is Samantha, and I am here to provide support to children/teens/young adults between the ages of 3 and 35. My passion is to provide kids, teens, and adults the necessary tools to help them grow into their own, unique individual. This passion of mine has led me to write a therapeutic children's book that helps children become aware of their emotions, as well as teaches appropriate ways to regulate those emotions. Every single child and every single person are different. I am not here to "fix" them, I am here to listen to them, to understand them, and to provide continuous non-judgmental care and support.

I offer support to families that are struggling with their children's behavior. Problematic behavior may show up around certain routines like mealtime, bedtime, or toilet training, or behavioral concerns may present themselves in a more general sense like reluctance to follow directions/defiance, being disrespectful, and/or ultimately difficult for parents and other family members to interact with.

I enjoy helping children and adolescents discover their potential and better understand and reduce the symptoms that brought them to therapy. We work collaboratively to learn new skills to apply to all areas of their lives as well as discovering a sense of peace. I work with parents to help find more effective parenting skills that lead to less anxiety, frustration, and anger about their children or their children's choices. Together, we can develop strategies to reduce household stress and work to implement these strategies in multiple personal areas.

Hello, I am Donna Cummings, LPC. I'm a licensed counselor with South Carolina, providing counseling to clients in need. I earned my Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling also from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and my philosophy and approach to counseling is to provide encouragement, guidance and a natural confidence to help individuals handle situations that they come in contact with in their daily lives. We are all different and meeting an individual where he/she is at that time, determines what therapy will be utilized.
