Dr. Plunkett is a pediatric neuropsychologist providing evaluation, consultation, and behavioral therapy. There are many reasons why children are referred for neuropsychological evaluation. Children suspected of having a developmental disorder (e.g., intellectual disability, ADHD, or learning disability) often require evaluation. Children diagnosed with a medical disorder (e.g., epilepsy) or who sustained a head injury may require evaluation for treatment planning. At times children are also referred because they are struggling for unclear reasons and an evaluation is needed to clarify what may be contributing to their presentation.

Hi, I'm Dr. Jen Millman. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, couples and families. As a cognitive behavioral therapist much of my work with adolescents and adults focuses on connecting thoughts to behaviors. Working with children I use a play therapy approach to make them as comfortable as possible while getting to know them as individuals. I also can provide psycho-educational evaluations to help students reach their potential by assessing their individual strengths and needs. I’m excited to work with you in identifying and overcoming obstacles so that you can move your life forward positively.

I have been working in the field for over 15 years working with children, adolescents, families and adults. I have a lot of experience working with individuals and families who have learning differences as well as anxiety, depression, and challenging life events. I utilize evidence-based practices that focus on the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Psychotherapy, Play Therapy, Strengths Based, and Mindfulness.

We continue to offer psycho-educational and psychological evaluations for clients presenting with learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism. We specialize in dyslexia diagnosis and educational recommendations. As a team of psychologists trained in school settings, we can support and guide you through the special education process. We have been successful advocating for students in due process hearings as well.

In addition to guiding children to strategies to manage adversity, I teach parents how to reinforce these tactics at home between sessions. I have worked in hospitals, schools, and outpatient clinic settings and now have the opportunity to pursue private practice.
