I currently am accepting people who are ages 16-120 and have a wide range of skills working with a variety of difficulties. Traumatic stress is unfortunately very common in our society, and it affects a person's mood, beliefs, and body in numerous ways. We specialize in helping people heal from trauma, whether it’s from a single major life event (such as a car accident or sexual assault) or ongoing hardship (for instance, growing up in a chaotic home environment or repeatedly having their feelings invalidated). Each of our therapists are warm and accepting, and work collaboratively with each person. Our goal is to help people move beyond merely reducing symptoms, and towards making their lives more meaningful and fulfilling.

My primary therapeutic focus is to help teenagers and adults to develop a stronger sense of self and to develop the coping skills they will need to address issues of anxiety, self esteem and self worth. I use a non-judgmental, trauma informed and holistic approach to help clients develop their ability to self soothe, including using body/movement and grounding techniques. I focus on both personal autonomy and understanding ourselves in relationships, with the goal of moving out of stuck feelings and thoughts to embody a more curious stance of your experiences and the world around you.

Elsbeth Ebenhoe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the field for over 20 years. Elsbeth is a mother of two, an avid traveler, and enjoys outdoor adventures. Elsbeth has a wide variety of experiences in Social Work including her time in West Africa with the Peace Corps, several years in Alaska and Seattle, and also in her home of the greater Rochester area. Throughout all of these locations Elsbeth enjoyed working with people of all backgrounds. Elsbeth has extensive training in trauma, anxiety, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, behavior analysis, grief, LGTBQ issues, and suicide assessment.

Diara Anderson obtained her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Capella University after earning both her graduate and undergraduate degrees in forensic psychology from Argosy University and John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Anderson has over 13 years of therapy experience. Her focus is person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) approaches, Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Dr. Anderson started her career in an adult inpatient psychiatric unit, providing individual therapy.
