We are a diverse group of mental health clinicians from various backgrounds, with several years experience providing therapy.

Clients (or their families) typically present with concerns about cognitive functioning or behavior and the impact of such on their daily lives such as at work, at school, at home, or socially. They often have questions about diagnoses and what services or accommodations would be helpful for them. They have concerns about the future and how to best manage their difficulties. Ideal patients are motivated to work together to find answers that make sense and strategies that they can actually use in daily life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 18 years of experience in mental health. I received a BA in Clinical Psychology from The College of NJ in 2005 and my MSW from Rutgers University in 2011. I worked in community mental health and served clients living with traumatic brain injuries, chronic illnesses, substance use disorders, and disabilities. In my years as a hospice social worker, I counseled individuals, groups, and families of all ages through end-of-life issues such as grief, discomfort, advocacy, communication, and planning. Eventually, I made the switch to becoming a therapist.

I am licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified School Counselor with more than 15 years of experience in practice as a counselor. I have worked with adults that struggle with many different life challenges such as depression, divorce, infertility, anxiety and depression or who are just having a difficult time dealing with life. My role as a therapist is to empower my clients to make necessary changes in order to live their best life and to teach them both positive and healthy coping skills to accomplish their goals.

Life can present a wide array of challenges, from anxiety, to mood disorders, to trauma; all which require very specialized healing. Therapy is a personalized and integrative experience, and I am here to support you every step of the way. Whether you are seeking clarity on your past, support through a life transition, or coaching for a challenging family dynamic; I will work with you with compassion and guidance to meet your needs.

I focus on creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for clients during sessions where clients can freely express themselves without the fear of judgement or disapproval. My goal is to help clients to work through their struggles and transform themselves into stronger, more self-aware people who can confidently achieve their goals. I work under a cognitive behavioral, strengths-based, solutioned focused approach to therapy where a client can better identify negative/irrational thoughts while gaining some tools to assist with the “right now” concerns.
