Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disabilities, and Psychological Disorders often adversely impact one’s ability to function and thrive. When these challenges are not adequately addressed, it can be disheartening when so much potential is hidden beneath the disorders.

Clinical Counseling and Consulting Services, PLLC (CCCS) is a counseling and consulting agency dedicated to clinician development and mental health treatment. Although CCCS specializes in treatment for sex offenders, individuals with problematic sexualized behavior, and victims of trauma, the agency also provides specialized outpatient therapy, employee assistance services, and services for individuals suffering from addiction. Parenting education classes are also available to assist parents with managing and coping with their children and/or adolescent behavioral deficits, addictions, and/or mental health disorder(s).

Some people experience more trauma than others. Success in therapy is feeling comfortable telling me what’s working for you—but also what isn’t working. It’s about what we can accomplish together to help you face hardship and emerge stronger and with greater purpose. That doesn’t mean your worst day is behind you. But I would like the opportunity to help you see the path that makes sense to you, and to provide you with tools that will help you daily. As an expressive arts therapist, I promote the healing power of the arts and am dedicated to helping my clients discover their strengths and healing potential. Marecius (pronounced Ma-re-kus) has many years of counseling experience and has worked with diverse populations. Marecius has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental, behavioral, and substance abuse related diagnoses. Marecius has provided therapy within inpatient psychiatric hospital settings and has previous work experience on Community Support Teams, Intensive In-Home, Family-Centered Treatment and Outpatient Therapy.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who need help with depression, anxiety, relational problems, grief, loss, and self-esteem issues. I utilize cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and dialectic behavioral therapies. Techniques that I utilize may include psycho-education, relaxation, reframing of negative thoughts, role-play, and mindfulness activities.

She is passionate about helping others make positive changes in their own timing. Her approach to therapy is strengths-based and a collaborative experience between her and her clients. Her goal of therapy is to help clients feel seen and heard in their experiences. She utilizes Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and is trauma-focused. She is LBGTQ+ affirming and works with individuals, children, adults, couples, and families.

Dr. Curtiss has a PhD in Exceptional Children. Most of her work is with people with Level 1 autism/Asperger’s Syndrome. She has been a teacher for over 20 years and has worked as an Autism Specialist for over 10 years. She owns Curtiss Specialized Consulting and offers the following services: ADOS-2 (autism testing), autism support, transition support (moving from school to adulthood or from school to school), independent living and daily living skills support, career life coaching, and academic support/tutoring high school and college. You do not need to have an official diagnosis to work with Dr. Curtiss.

I recently graduated with my master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have experience working with people across the lifespan with many different mental health needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I primarily work with individuals 16 years old and older who may struggle with anxiety, panic attacks, obsessions and compulsions, depression, attention deficit/hyperactivity (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, gender identity, sexuality, life transitions, and stress.
