I'm a psychologist with 30 years experience, having had three stages of my career: a) testing students with learning disabilities; b) working with family-owned businesses; and c) helping build healthy workplace cultures, primarily with the 5 languages of appreciation. I'm moving into a new stage - consulting with individuals wanting help growing into a new stage of their life and career. This includes family businesses, leaders (and potential leaders), writers, trainers - individuals needing help getting "unstuck".

My areas of specialty include psychological assessment and therapy services for children and adolescents. I complete thorough assessments for ADHD, autism, learning disorders, developmental delays, mood, anxiety, and behavioral disorders. Reports include specific recommendations that emphasize and involve the child's strengths. In addition, I provide therapy for children and adolescents who are experiencing a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties.

I believe in trying differently, rather than harder. Parenting children who are neurodivergent (ADHD, FASD, Autism, Developmental Trauma) can be overwhelming, especially if a parent is too! Children can struggle with healthy attachment, viewing every person and situation through a "survival' lens of distrust, often engaging in undesirable behavior to try to establish feeling in control, safe, and connected. They may struggle with processing and verbalizing or emotional regulation. Parents may struggle with regulation and connection in the face of challenging behavior. We all do well when we have the necessary skills to do so!

I obtained my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in 2016. I enjoy working with couples, individuals, families, and children 13+ in achieving their own mental and emotional goals. Mac graduated from Friends University with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. A Wichita native, he has served the community in various social-service and clinical roles. Currently, Mac offers brief solution focus, narrative, cognitive behavioral, and EMDR treatment approaches. Mac also offers play therapy to ages four and above. He is currently providing services for individuals, couples, families, adolescent issues, marital issues, parent training, co-parent training, and court related issues.
