I am a clinical social worker who works with people from ages 14 to Geriatric age. My client base are people who have occupational , substance abuse, mental health, family, and legal issues. The following disorders I work with are personality disorders, Schizophrenia spectrum, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, mood disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury and Intellectual Disabilities, that range from borderline intellectual to moderate intellectual disability. I am also a certified gambling addictions counselor and Certified addictions Counselor.

Specializing in Psychological Testing for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Dementia/Memory problems, and Psychiatric Disorders in general.

My ideal clients are individuals that are struggling with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression or other behavioral issues who need to learn better ways to cope. Other ideal clients would be parents/families with children who have special needs and need support, education and guidance to cope and manage their feelings and relationships as they may relate to the unique stressors of having a child with a special need.

I am Licensed Professional Counselor whose professional and personal experiences have lead me down the path to helping clients of all ages with life's daily struggles. I provide individual and family counseling for children, teens, and adults for a wide range of mental health disorders such as, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, PTSD/Trauma, anger management, sexual abuse, self-harm, parenting Skills, grief, and ADHD.

This is achieved by using an integrated perspective, which focus on the mind, body and soul of each client. I'm a Pediatrician by training, who has spent the last decade helping children and their families with behavioral health issues (ADHD, anxiety, depression, etc). I take pride in developing a comfortable working relationship with my patients and their parents, which increases the probability of reaching our goals as fast as possible during their crucial developmental years. As a parent myself, I appreciate straight answers and easy to understand explanations. I strive to give you the time you need to share your journey and the respect you deserve as the person on the front lines with your child.

Pam Giardina, LCSW, comes with thirty years of experience working with children and families facing stress. She spent twenty-five years as a Child Life Specialist at Arkansas Children's Hospital helping children and families cope with trauma, hospitalization, surgical procedures, and chronic illnesses. Obtaining a masters degree in social work was a way to develop and utilize her extensive experience outside of the acute care environment. She now uses evidenced-based therapies to help children, adults, and families with trauma including sexual abuse, physical abuse, life-changing accidents, and death.

Therapy & Assessment Center (TAC) is a place for clients to find indiviudal purpose and family healing. We treat children (starting at 3 years-old). TAC offers a creative enviroment for children to address emotional and behavior issues through play therapy and behavior modification. TAC has an amazing sensory-based play therapy room that your children will love. TAC takes the time to teach parents creative parenting techniques to use at home. TAC also treats teens and adults of all ages.

Parenting is a challenging endeavor in the most ideal of circumstances, but parenting children with learning problems, disruptive behaviors, social skills deficits, or emotional disturbance can tax even the most well-informed parent. There are many effective ways to parent children and my goal is to provide evaluation and treatment approaches that allow you to parent your child based on your own values while using the most healthy and effective strategies. For those children already in treatment, I can collaborate with the child's therapist and/or physician to provide evaluations that help to clarify diagnosis and treatment needs.
