In a safe and supportive therapeutic environment my role is to help uncover your “toolbox”, remove the broken or ineffective tools, sharpen the dull ones, and add a few new shiny ones. To embark on this counseling journey several critical therapeutic ingredients are needed: safety, empathy, and trust (SET). You'll lead and I'll closely follow, serving as a skillfully trained second pair of eyes and ears.
I use an integrative approach to help my clients gain insight and self-awareness, which is the first step needed for healing, growth, and authentic change. For couples experiencing cracks in their foundation I focus on cementing those divides, building up your emotional bank accounts, and increasing effective communication.
