I have been helping young people solve problems and achieve their goals for over 12 professional years. In all that time, I have served two main roles; a school counselor for a special education organization, and a high school coach of soccer, cross country and track teams in central New Jersey. I have extensive experience in helping children, adolescents and teens earn success by realizing and developing strengths to overcome life's obstacles. I believe that navigating the years between childhood and adulthood is one of the most daunting periods in someone's life, and challenges can come at you from all different directions.
I use a relatively informal style and aim to make clients comfortable throughout the counseling process. I strive to naturally recognize and acknowledge what is special about each person I meet, and I do my best to understand their perspective so that we can work through what they are facing. I offer an open mind and great experience in education & athletics
Every facet of life, regardless of our background, presents challenges. Counseling has brought me to people in their time of need, and I relish the opportunity to help others through difficulties large and small. Sports can be another monster altogether, but I have almost 50 HS seasons to draw from and I would love to be part of your success story.
