I primarily work with clients living with ADHD, anxiety, and navigating various life transitions. We'll spend the first few sessions getting to know one another, and I'll be paying attention to your verbal and nonverbal communication. Together, we will process your feelings and experiences in order to help you gain more insight and develop a plan that helps to address your desired areas of growth.

There is so much in the power of therapy as a process that invites curiosity, creativity and play. I prioritize the innate ability to express vulnerabilities and needs through non-verbal, auditory, kinesthetic, and visual ways which I process with dance/movement therapy and other creative therapies. I strongly believe in the transformative power of art, especially for those who haven't found the language or words to express themselves yet. I honor the creative process and how it can initiate our own journey towards care and healing.

I always think of my clients as multi-faceted, keeping in mind their culture, identity, immigration history, trauma, attachment, family history, development, and relationship patterns.

We all experience difficult emotions throughout the course of our lives. Pain, of all kinds, is a part of the human experience. Significant problems arise when pain turns into suffering. I believe by changing the way we view ourselves and view the world, we can alleviate suffering. My goal in therapy is to create a space for you to explore new ways of experiencing life's most difficult emotions.

I have been in practice since 2002, helping adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. I work collaboratively with clients from a biopsychosocial perspective, using the interrelationship between the mind and body as a focus for treatment. As a medical psychologist on hospital staff, I diagnose and treat psychological issues in outpatient or inpatient therapy.

Practicing both personally and professionally from an anti-racist/ anti-oppressive lens and being LGBTQIA+ affirming, Olivia honors the intersectionalities of identities, lived experiences, and the ways in which these experiences are held in our bodies. She uses movement and expression to promote holistic healing that can aid with how these experiences show up in our bodies.

Grief, loss, and change challenge us to renegotiate – in our bodies, in our thoughts – earlier and similar transformations in our lives, stirring up difficult emotions, thoughts, images, and bodily experiences. In our work together, I will attend with integrity to whatever expressions of body, mind, and heart that arise. In this work that requires patience of us both, I will help you to discover and connect the elements of your own unconscious, history, desires, associations, leading to a genuine – even transformative – development of your own psychological, spiritual, and embodied personal narrative.
