As a Licensed Clinical Social worker, I provide individual psychotherapy as well as marriage and couples counseling in a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental environment. I specialize in guiding individuals through the complexities of eating disorders as well as helping couples repair their connections and establish secure, lasting bonds with one another.
I work with my patients from an integrated approach, depending on the needs of the individual(s), incorporating aspects of psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I am licensed to provide psychotherapy in Washington, D.C., Maryland and New York.
I have worked previously at New York Presbyterian Hospital's inpatient eating disorder unit and at the Renfrew Center of New York. In addition to maintaining a private practice, I work currently as an adult and adolescent psychotherapist at Kaiser Permanente in Washington D.C.
