As a clinician, I utilize an integrative approach including Person-Centered techniques, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Gestalt, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I like to take a comprehensive, collaborative approach to treatment and focus on building a professional and positive relationship versus treating a diagnosis. To me, it is important to build a genuine relationship based on trust, openness and honesty, that emphasizes meeting the client where they’re at. I believe the client is an expert in their own lives and my role is to help them become a healthier, happier version of themselves.

I do this with an integrative approach of somatic modalities, archetypal, recognizing and gentle inner work around behaviors, beliefs, and emotional patterns.
I provide healing support to individuals, couples and children who want a sense of control over their lives, deeply understand themselves, to connect with meaning and embodiment. Challenges I work with are trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity issues, mens issues, ADHD/Autism/neurodivergence, eco-anxiety and psychedelic integration. I help couples recognize repeating patterns, substituting defensiveness with clear vulnerable communication, and strengthen intimacy.

I am here to help you find some peace and calm in this storm of life. Although that sounds a bit cliche, life seems to be getting more complicated by the day- I want to support you in whatever way you or your family need. My experience is with a range of issues, ages, and cultural diversities, including working through family conflict, helping with behavior modification for your young child or learning how to connect with your teen. I also work with adults dealing with job stress, relationship issues, or those struggling to find passion and drive.

Welcome! Are you navigating a significant life event, a time of change or transformation? Therapy can support you - this journey is not one you need to do alone. I create a space that encourages exploration, is radically free of judgement and expectation. Together we can slow down enough to hear and listen to your inner wisdom where the answers and next steps that are right for you can be found.

It’s a struggle to deal with anxiety, a harmful inner critic, or unsatisfying relationship dynamics. It can be hard to feel playful, to easily connect to others, to get your emotional needs met, or to feel at ease in your body. Whether you feel overwhelmed by your emotions or cut off from them, you know you want to do things differently but aren’t sure how. While I don’t work with couples, I do specialize in working with individuals who are carrying around belief systems that are keeping them anxious or detached in relationships.

Seeing you leave my office feeling better and more comfortable in your skin makes my day. Hearing that your life has changed for the better makes my year. I pledge that when you come to me you will find my heart open to you no matter how you have suffered, no matter what you look like, no matter where you come from and no matter how you live your life. My goal is to look at those things you give me permission to look at and to work with you to meet your wants and needs. .

If change were as simple as Cher telling Nicholas Cage in Moonstruck to "Snap out of it!" there would be no need for therapists. While experiencing pain is difficult, it is often a catalyst for growth. As a licensed Therapist for 18 years, I specialize in helping people heal their emotional injuries and move through the "stuck" places that prevent them from living fuller and more meaningful lives. Resilience increases by working through challenges.

Your relationship is stressed or you're looking for one, you're restless in your career or you're searching for meaning. Your self-care has taken backseat to busyness and life has become about being mother, wife, or caretaker. You're feeling stagnant, uninspired, and worried the world is passing you by. Waking up in the morning and looking forward to your day seems like a distant reality. You want to change but feel paralyzed by uncertainty. It feels too hard on your own to get clear with what's missing in your relationship, your career, and your life or where to begin to make lasting, meaningful change that feels worth the effort.

Whether you are exploring issues around identity, your relationships with those closest to you, feelings of anxiety or depression, or life changes and transitions, I will be happy to create a space for you to do so. You may want to process a crisis or trauma, or just want a safe and non-judgemental place to express yourself and feel heard. Additionally, if you are a parent concerned about your child’s behavior and relationships in your family, or you want to proactively address upcoming transitions in your family, family therapy or parent consultation may be helpful to you.

Hi, I’m Natalie. Do you feel lost, like you don’t know what you’re doing? Do you feel like things could be better? Are you going through the motions when you want to be more present in your life? As cliche as it sounds, you are not alone. Everyone stands to benefit from having a safe place to talk to someone about their life. I want therapy to be a good experience for you. I help individuals struggling with imposter syndrome, redefining or coming back to themselves through life transitions, or working through burnout.

Integrative Therapists

What is integrative therapy?

Integrative therapy is a type of therapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of the individual client. By merging elements of different treatments, an integrative therapist aims to offer a more flexible approach than those who practice just one type of therapy.

How does integrative therapy work?

Integrative therapy approaches a client’s mental, physical, and emotional health in a holistic way to discover the sources of their unhealthy behavior patterns or other challenges and considers the approach most likely to lead to improvement. Among the techniques an integrative therapist may practice are cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, art or music therapy, psychodynamic therapy, breathwork, family systems therapy, gestalt therapy, and trauma-informed therapy. An integrative therapist regularly evaluates the client’s progress and is prepared to pivot to a different approach if progress stalls.

How long does integrative therapy last?

As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for integrative therapy; people who find they are making progress typically continue until they feel they’ve addressed the issues that spurred them to seek treatment. New patients should understand that it may take some time for a therapist to land on a treatment approach that best meets their needs, but once they do, they should expect sessions to extend for a number of months, typically including at least 12 sessions.

How effective is integrative therapy?

There are hundreds of types of talk therapy, and research shows that while they vary in form, goals, and frequency, many if not all can produce similarly successful outcomes. But a single approach does not always deliver the greatest, or speediest, benefit, and so even therapists primarily trained in one model will use tools, language, techniques, or exercises from others to shape an effective treatment plan.
