I have a strong passion for supporting adults, children, adolescents, and families to healing. I have experience with a variety of populations, and I am dedicated to prioritizing the needs and goals of clients who work with me in their therapeutic work. I specialize in mindfulness, anxiety, mood, attention, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, life changes and relationship issues. Within a family context, I utilize the framework of the family system to support changing behaviors and identifying growth.
I use a variety of treatment modalities to best meet the needs of my clients. I am intensively trained in DBT, and am trained in CBT, CPT, as well as Motivational Interviewing. I work to cultivate an approach tailored to the needs of my clients, and may incorporate various models in my therapeutic work to best support their progress.
I believe that first and foremost, a non-judgmental, warm approach is necessary to meet clients seeking therapy. I value a safe, welcoming space that honors the trust given by clients as they share their vulnerabilities and strengths with me, and openly welcome clients of all backgrounds.
