Integrative Counseling Center's Groups
Dealing with Anxiety for Middle Schoolers
This is an eight (8) week program where skills are taught and built upon each week. Participation in each group session is important in building rapport and skills. This will be an interactive online group, giving members an opportunity to learn skills for core mindfulness, tolerating distress, and engaging in healthy coping skills. Fee for group is $200 paid before the first meeting.
DBT for High Schoolers
Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) helps those experiencing anxiety, depression, self harming, eating disorders, or compulsive thinking to be more effective in living a healthy life. DBT Skills Groups are designed to help members develop emotional and mindful wisdom, learn to deal with self-defeating behaviors and distress in healthier ways, and build relationship skills. Those interested in this group will complete a short screener prior to membership and weekly participation, and should be engaged in ongoing outpatient mental health treatment. Fee for group is $200 paid before the first meeting.
Coping without Substance
This group will use a Seven Challenges approach aimed at those ages 15-18 who wish to change behaviors of alcohol or substance use. This online, interactive group will allow members to identify personal reasons for change, find more positive means of coping with stressors, and improve problem-solving skills. Fee for group is $200 paid before the first meeting.
