If we mutually decide that I may be able to help, I typically set up an initial interview and then we will proceed with a therapeutic plan. You will find that experience saves time and money. I have been a therapist since 1973 and in private practice since 1984.
I am also a trained EMDR therapist (Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing) - a proven and effective method for resolving trauma of all types and works well on depression and anxiety issues. Sub specialty in working with all types of trauma issues including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and extensive experience with sexual and clergy abuse. I also am a trained family and adolescent therapist. I enjoy assisting adolescents in their particular struggles.
I do not participate in any managed health care plan, but may be able to assist with your out of network benefits.
