Growing up in a culture between two worlds taught me to empathize with youth, parent’s, & communities dealing with identity conflict, familial & inferiority issues. I work to empower individuals toward a balance of interpersonal autonomy & self-advocacy embracing their world. My doctoral research & experiences supported a framework with diverse populations dealing with: depression, anxiety, identity issues, trauma, self-esteem, life-transitions, and most of all family conflict.
I truly appreciate the diversity human experiences contribute to shaping identity, ie: identity/cultural conflicts, relationships, etc, which affects social emotional well-being. I embrace a holistic multifaceted approach consisting of mindfulness, insight-oriented psycho dynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

Parents experiencing difficulty connecting with and understanding their tween or teen can find it even more challenging to navigate appropriate reactions. Have you noticed an increase in anxiety or changes in your child when your child’s social media is interrupted? We address relationship & social media issues, the social emotional factor, and discipline, Learning to manage ones emotions is hugely important. Day and time are planned monthly to accommodate participant schedules as best as possible and meetings are virtual. Maximum 10 per group
