Emotional pain and struggle are a normal part of life but it's easy to get stuck. Eventually, we find ourselves far from what we find most valuable and meaningful in life. Whether it's depression, grief, anger, trauma, stress, anxiety, or difficulty adjusting to life circumstances, together we will practice skills to be more present in life, more open and better equipped to handle our pain, and more able to move towards what matters.
My main theoretical approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which is based in mindfulness and acceptance. I also draw from Compassion Based Therapy. I believe that a positive relationship, understanding, and humor all play important parts in the therapeutic process.
I offer in person appointments at my office in the Hazel Dell neighborhood of Vancouver, WA. I offer Telehealth (video) appointments to anyone in Washington and Oregon. Please feel free to reach out by phone, text, or email.
