As a therapist I define myself as an open, receptive, a good listener and sensitive to people’s needs. I have been a professional therapist for the last 22 years working with addictions; and other issues associated with this problem such as depression, anxiety, guilt, anger problems, trauma, issues with attention and hyperactivity, low self-esteem, etc. I work with young adults, adults, seniors and individual with disabilities from different cultures. I’m a bilingual therapist (Spanish/English) that enjoy working with individuals who are ready for a change and have the determination to move on with their lives.
I implement different approaches such as CBT, Solution Focus, Gestalt, EMDR., Client Centered Therapy, Motivational Interview.
My main goals for my clients are: a) to provide them with the tools to overcome their problems b) to strengthen their self-confidence c) to empower themselves d) to visualize their lives with courage, optimism and determination e)to enrich their spirit with inner peace f) to maintain a balance in their lives g) to succeed in life.
